What it is — OSDK Expansion Module for DJI Matrice 300 RTK
The Expansion Module is an official accessory for the Matrice 300 RTK. Its purpose is to allow you to mount an onboard computer (like DJI Manifold 2 or other compatible “onboard computing platforms”) to the drone and expose standard interfaces (e.g. USB, serial, power) for custom payloads.
In short: it converts the Matrice’s internal OSDK (Onboard SDK) ports into usable standard ports (USB‑A, UART serial port, XT30 power output) you can plug external hardware into.
What It Does — Key Features & Interface Support
Interface conversion: The module provides standard USB‑A, UART serial port, and XT30 power output — enabling payloads such as onboard computers, sensors, custom cameras, LiDAR, or other third‑party hardware to connect.
Compatibility: Designed for Matrice 300 RTK (and compatible with Manifold 2).
Flexible mounting: Can work even with the upward‑facing single gimbal (i.e. doesn’t block standard drone gimbal), enabling a wide variety of payload configurations.
